I always have people asking me what the actual MHz are on a particular Athlon XP processor so I decided to put together a chart that goes over some of the basic specs of the Athlon XP processors. I may add older and newer AMD processors to this list at a later date but for now we will just stick with the current line of processors. If you find any errors in this chart let me know. The Athlon 64 information below may not be accurate but it’s all the info I was able to find.

I thought so to but a friend of mine told me that all of the B core Thoroughbreds where 1.6v

Come to think about it I have an 1800+ at home that’s running at 1.75v OC@ 2.GHz 400FSB

I will set it to default tonight and see what it goes to. Thanks for your input

I just set my 1800+ B core to default voltage and it said 1.6 volts. The 1800+ A core runs at 1.5 volts.

All the B core Thoroughbreds run at 1.6 Volts v-core until you hit 2400+ and AMD raised the voltage to 1.65 volts. The only Thoroughbreds that ran at 1.5 volts where the A core and that just lasted until they hit 1900+.

Thanks for your input though I always like to here from my readers.

Sorry for the delay. Well mine runes default @ 1.5V. And it's for sure a B0 Stepping CPU. I read some reviews on the net and they stated that the new 1800+ run at 1.5V. Maybe yours is .. older? My older CPU (1700+ TBred B, was running at 1.6V default).

I am a bit curious. You have 29C @ 1.65V with the Volcano 9? At what RPM?

I can only hit 29c when my air is on full blast, I am using the smart fan 2 that runs at 5200RPM

and my 1800+ is an A core with a stock Vcore of 1.5v. I also have a 1700+ B core that runs at 1.6V

I just thought I'd let you know that AMD has also released a couple of FX's with the 939 that have the Clawhammer core. I'm currently looking at getting the FX-55 which has the 939 config and is based on the Clawhammer core. The FX-53 has also been released with the Clawhammer. So yeah. Just thought I'd drop you a line and let you know so you can update your list, since you said you would. .....yeah.

Any chance of this being updated again?

It's always been so handy to figure out what is what at a glance.

Yeah I have been meaning to update it lately. I need to take some of the code names out and add the newer chips to the list. I will probably start research on it shortly.
