hey guys , i've a problem, not serious but it's bothering me if u know what i mean.

i was using my pc and i tried to attach a hardisk, after i unplugged it and return to use my ordinary hardisk, when i start my pc i got in the bios screen a msg saying :"press F4 to resume" when i press F4 i go to windows normally, and every time i start my pc or restart it i got this damn message, i don't know why it appeared and how to solve it , cause it's boring then every time u boot u need to wait and press f4 1st. BTW i've an intel D865PERL MB. please help me guys

Intel motherboards are testy. There should be a jumper on the motherboard that will put you in to setup mode check your hard drive and save the bios then put the jumper back to normal.

but what changed and make that message appears? i didn't change the jumper , or remove my hard? and i connected the other hard thousands of times so what's changed?

Yeah there support dose suck. I am not sure if they still do this but for a long time Intel farmed out there motherboards to low end manufacturers like ecs and fic to name a few. So basically all you where getting was a generic motherboard with Intel's name on it.

There should be a setup jumper somewhere. You can also try reseting your bios that might help.

i found the jumper and the manual.

as usual ,in the manual nothing said about the F4 problem, but they said when i remove the jumper the bios return to recovery mode or something like that, so u suggest to remove the jumper or change its position only?
