Today I am going to write an article on the CyberCPU.net lan box. This
system was built as a test rig for CyberCPU.net for doing hardware
reviews. |

|
Here are the system spec's |
~AMD Athlon XP 2000+ (Courtesy of
AMD) ~ASUS A7V266-E Motherboard
~256Mb Samsung PC3200
~MSI Geforce 4 TI4200 64Mb (Det 40.72) ~Netgear 10/100 NIC
~Maxtor 60Gb ATA133
~ASUS 52X CD-Rom (Stealth Mod)
~Aluminum Case w/350w Power supply
~Windows XP Pro Service pack 1

The system runs stable at 1.8Ghz from
the stock 1.67Ghz it is overclocked FSB only. I will be unlocking it
soon and doing a How-To on it I will also be adding a Zalman passive chipset
cooler in place of stock ASUS chipset cooler. The video card runs with
its stock heat sink and no ram sinks at 290Mhz core and 555Mhz memory.

I would like to thank
AMD for donating
the CPU. They gave me 2 Athlon XP 2000+ CPU's. Most of the system
other then the CPU's came out of pocket so it was a slow build up but
its finished now. |
