Installation on this chipset was very easy. In a few simple steps the job was done and I was on with my gaming for the afternoon. Here are some photos before the instalashon.

There was no problem removing the old chipset cooler but you have to take the motherboard out. At least I recommend you take the motherboard out. Under the motherboard you will see the little black clips that hold the old cooler in use your fingernails and squeeze the sides together and push the clip thru the bottom of the motherboard. Be careful not to let the old cooler scratch anything. Here are some photos of the motherboard without the cooler on. I was happy to see how much heat sink compound ASUS used on the original cooler.

The chipset cooler came with everything you need for installation even easy to understand directions. It also comes with thermal epoxy for people that don't have the holes in there motherboard for the clips.

Make sure you clean the old heat sink compound off of the chipset and replace it with the supplied compound at this point you will need to use your finger to smooth the compound on top of the chipset. The Installation of the chipset itself was very easy the hardest part of the Installation was positioning of the clips on the heat sink. Zalman supplied new clips to go thru the motherboard but I felt they where cheap and decided to use the old ones from ASUS. You might have to take the heat sink off a few times to straiten it out I had to take it off once. Here are some photos of the instillation.

After you have the heat sink ready to install just line up the arms and push the clips thru the motherboard and your done. Here are some photos of the completed job.
